France - Chambreteau, La Rochelle, Bordeaux to Biscarrosse

We left Chambreteau in the region of Pays de la Loire and started heading back towards the coast again. Not far south we drove through this small town of St Michel Mont Mercure. According to the map there was nothing there of note but this church stood out for miles around standing on the highest point of the town. We stopped to investigate.
